Day 1 — Marrakech, Sidi Moussa & Ikhf n’Ighir

Depart Marrakech around 07:00 via Sidi Rahal, Demnate and the natural bridge of Imi n’Ifri. Continue through the mountains and the Aït Boualli Valley to Agouti in Aït Bougumez. After lunch, begin the walk from Timiyte to Sidi Moussa, the historic collective granary standing at about 2,000 metres, then descend through the valley to Ikhf n’Ighir for the night at Dar Ait Ali.

Approximate travel and walking time: 4½ hours by road and 2½ hours on foot.

Day 2 — Adazen, Tabant & Marrakech

Follow the trail toward Aït Ouham and climb the Adazen ridge for panoramic views. Descend toward Ibaklioun and its dinosaur tracks, then continue to Tabant, the valley’s main village and the site of the Sunday weekly market. Return to Dar Ait Ali for lunch before travelling back to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tirghiste, the foot of Azourki and Azilal.

Approximate travel and walking time: 4 hours on foot and 4½ hours by road.
